WebDescription:
PowerBox Evolution Small, lightweight, high performance power supply unit with linear voltage regulation for receiver and servos -with double regulated linear voltage stabilization - with double battery monitoring - with double signal amplification for each channel - with dual electronic safety switches (Sensorswitch) - with six remote-access channels The PowerBox Evolution has turned out to be an extremely popular power supply unit, and is now its second generation. Typical applications range from high speed model jets (world record by David Shulman at 555 km/hr) through scale aircraft and 3-D models with wingspans up to 2.6 meters. The PowerBox Evolution features all the electronic components required to cope with modern, high performance servos and models. The unit is protected under Registered Design No. DE 203 13 420.6. All the components, ICs and electronic circuits required to form a secure power supply are duplicated in the PowerBox Evolution, which can be operated with NC, NiMH, Life or LiPo cells, If you decide to use lightweight LiPo batteries, we recommend the PowerBox Battery 1500, 2800, 3200, 4000 from our range. Up to six channels can be accessed remotely using the PowrBox Evolution, and the unit features two voltage monitors for checking the performance capability of the two energy sources. Three coloured LEDs are assigned to each battery – one green, one orange and one red – providing separate indication of the voltage of each pack. The SensorSwitch supplied in the set is used to actuate the electronic switches within the PowerBox Evolution. The SensorSwitch just supplies the switching pulse – it does not actually switch the current for the servos and the receiver. It Is also used for reading out the minimum value memory and for setting the battery type. The PowerBox Eolution is prepared for and compatible with all modern 2.4 GHz receivers, including Spektrum, FASST, MPX, regardless of type. Summary: consistent duplication of all safety-relevant components, two regulators, two electronic switches, two voltage monitors, two minimum value memories, signal amplifiers for each channel, SensorSwitch with safety button, high performance, RF interference suppression for all servo inputs, all channels protected against servo feedback currents. Power handling up to 2 x 10 Amps
